RTKTEST.com compares up to three correction services against a surveyed point in one 15-minute session, and the 14-day trial runs on your own receiver at your own sites.
Swedish crews choose between the national mapping agency's network RTK service, commercial network RTK, crowd-sourced base stations, satellite-delivered corrections and their own base.
| Type | Typical operator | What to check |
|---|---|---|
| National network RTK | The national mapping agency, sold as an annual, 90-day or 30-day subscription. | Coverage near your sites, whether an availability commitment is published, and support hours. |
| Commercial network RTK | A private provider with stations across Sweden and beyond. | How many correction sources serve your area, the published service level and its remedy, the term, and whether a trial is offered. |
| Crowd-sourced network | Independent owners hosting single base stations. | Distance to the nearest base, station uptime, and how each base was surveyed. |
| Satellite or state-space (PPP-RTK, SSR) | A provider broadcasting an error model without a local base. | Convergence time, accuracy and vertical performance. |
| Your own base | Your crew, on a surveyed point. | The survey of the base point, range, and the time spent setting it up and guarding it. |
RTK Premium delivers ETRS89 (ETRF2000, epoch 2010.0), with ellipsoidal heights. SWEREF 99, the official Swedish reference system, is a national realisation of ETRS89, so apply the projection and the height conversion in your controller or office software: SWEREF 99 TM for national work or one of the twelve local SWEREF 99 zones, such as SWEREF 99 18 00, for local work, and RH 2000 heights through the SWEN17_RH2000 height correction model. The two realisations can differ slightly, so check against a national control point before cadastral or control work.
Farms: Sweden had 55,400 agricultural holdings in 2024. Drilling, spraying and auto-steer on those farms depend on a correction that holds pass after pass. (Swedish Board of Agriculture, 2024)
Arable land: Sweden had 2,526,900 hectares of arable land in 2025. Controlled traffic and section control on that land run on centimetre guidance. (Swedish Board of Agriculture, 2025)
Forestry: Forest land was 68% of Sweden's 410,000 square kilometres of land in 2020. Forest roads, harvesting plans and boundary surveys are set out from surveyed points. (Statistics Sweden, 2020)
Rail: Sweden's railway network consists of about 15,600 km of track, and the national transport agency manages about 14,200 km of it. Track renewals and clearance checks are measured against design to the centimetre. (Swedish Transport Administration, accessed Nov 2026)
Roads: Sweden has almost 100,000 km of government-owned road. Resurfacing, widening and new junctions are staked and checked against design. (Swedish Transport Administration, accessed Nov 2026)
Hydro and wind power: Hydropower generated 64.2 TWh in Sweden in 2024 and wind power 40.4 TWh, up 19% on the year before. Turbine foundations, access roads and dam monitoring need precise positions and heights. (Swedish Energy Agency, 2024)
RTK Premium serves Sweden with network RTK in ETRS89, and the coverage map shows the networks at any site.
The national mapping agency's network RTK service is sold by subscription. Community networks host free single base stations of varying quality, so check what each source commits to on availability and support.
Use ETRS89, then project to SWEREF 99 TM or the local SWEREF 99 zone your project specifies, and convert to RH 2000 heights with SWEN17_RH2000.
Yes. Postglacial land uplift moves the land surface, so RH 2000 heights refer to the epoch 2000, and the uplift is greatest in northern Sweden. Use RH 2000 benchmarks and the SWEN17_RH2000 model, and check a known point before height-critical work.
Prices depend on the number of devices, the term and the product, and we quote them after a short call. The 14-day trial needs no payment.
In a fixed solution under good conditions, RTK Premium reaches under 1.5 cm horizontally and 2.5 cm vertically.
