  • NSRTCM3 - Nearest Station Radio Technical Commission for Maritime Services 3 data format: correction data from one (nearest) physical station (GPS and Glonass)

  • NSRTCM3_G4: same like NSRTCM3, additional including Galileo and Beidou

  • PRSCMRPLUS - PseudoReferenceStation CMR+ data format, for trimble receivers (GPS only)

  • PRSRTCM3 - PseudoReferenceStation RTCM3 data format including GPS and Glonass

  • PRSRTCM3_G4 - same as PRSRTCM3, but RTCM3.2 data format additionally including Galileo and Beidou

  • PRSRTCM3_G4_LEI - same as PRSRTCM3_G4, adapted for Leica rovers

  • PRSRTCM3_G4_UTM31 - same as PRSRTCM3_G4, including GeoID transformation for zone 31 (GER only)

  • PRSRTCM3_G4_UTM31_LEI - same as PRSRTCM3_G4_UTM31, adapted for Leica rovers (GER only)

  • PRSRTCM3_G4_UTM32 - same as PRSRTCM3_G4, including GeoID transformation for zone 32 (GER only)

  • PRSRTCM3_G4_UTM32_LEI - same as PRSRTCM3_G4_UTM32, adapted for Leica rovers (GER only)

  • PRSRTCM3_G4_UTM33 - same as PRSRTCM3_G4, including GeoID transformation for zone 33  (GER only)

  • PRSRTCM3_G4_UTM33_LEI - same as PRSRTCM3_G4_UTM33, adapted for Leica rovers (GER only)

Do you also provide RTK corrections including transformation to local coordinate systems?

  • The 7 Parameters transformation is within the signal
  • Within specified mount points we can deliver UTM31/32/33, (only in Germany)

Does Premium Positioning use OSnet in Great Britain?

Yes, the service is based on Ordnance Survey base station data, just like the other top tier providers in the UK.

Increase 1GB per month allowance possible?

In general, raising the M2M data to 20GB becomes quite expensive. How often do you think this would happen? What we could do, is agree to a small number of SIM cards for higher usage. Please contact support for a quote.

Is the service compatible with VRS and MAX correction?

Yes, the service is compatible with VRS (RTCM). The MAX or iMAX settings do not add any value in combination with our network and we recommend the VRS (RTCM) setting.

What are the settings of the SIM card?

  • The SIM card activates itself, when it is the first time inserted in a modem and connected to any mobile data network. How to activate the SIM?
  • Please choose simpoint.m2m, no password, no user fill in
  • How much traffic is the connection causing? 2 MB per hour for GPS and Glonass, adding Galileo/Beidou means 3 to 4 MB per hour

What is the difference between VRS and PRS?

The difference:

  • VRS is on the exact location of the rover

  • PRS is approx. 5 km away from rover

  • VRS is static (location does not move, even if rover moves)

  • PRS is dynamic (individualized correction are in real-time for the current location)

Benefits of the PRS solution:

  1. The pseudo reference station is some km off from the rover (around 5 km). Therefore, the remaining representation errors between the rover and the physical reference station are taken into account in the calculation.

  2. The individualized corrections are optimized for the latest rover position, leading to increased range compared to simple VRS.
